Latest update:

We are restarting our dancing again on Tuesday 21st September.  Please do come and join us then, or on any subsequent 1st or 3rd Tuesday of the month.

Welcome to the website of Chesterfield’s local folk dancing club, the Spire Folk Dance Club, named after the famous ‘crooked spire’ of the Parish Church of St Mary and All Saints in the heart of Chesterfield, North Derbyshire.  This is THE folk dance club for people looking for folk dancing in and around the Chesterfield area.

We are a friendly group, who welcome novices and experienced dancers alike. Take a look at ‘What we Do’ to find out more about the sort of dancing that takes place on a club night.

To find out how often and where we meet, click ‘When and Where’ above.  The club starts for the 2019/20 ‘season’ on Tuesday 3rd September.

And if you are new to folk dancing, you might also want to have a look at ‘New to Folk Dancing’.

We look forward to welcoming you to one of our club evenings soon.
